Denna integritetspolicy beskriver hur VetaMer ("appen", "vi", "oss") samlar in, använder och skyddar dina personuppgifter.


1. VILKA UPPGIFTER VI SAMLAR IN

1.1 Automatiskt insamlade uppgifter
När du skapar ett konto i VetaMer via Firebase Authentication sparar vi ditt Firebase-ID. Detta är en unik identifierare som kopplar dig till ditt konto och gör det möjligt att spara dina framsteg i appen.

1.2 Uppgifter du anger
Du väljer själv ett smeknamn som visas publikt i appens topplistor för quiz och utmaningar. Välj ett smeknamn som du är bekväm med att andra användare kan se.

1.3 Valfria uppgifter vid tävlingar
Om du deltar i en tävling med priser som kräver att vi kan kontakta dig kommer appen att fråga om du vill dela din e-postadress. Du bestämmer själv om du vill dela denna uppgift. E-postadressen används endast för att kontakta eventuella vinnare och raderas efter att tävlingen är avslutad.


2. HUR VI ANVÄNDER DINA UPPGIFTER

Vi använder dina uppgifter för att:
- Identifiera ditt konto och spara dina framsteg
- Visa ditt smeknamn i topplistor och utmaningar
- Kontakta dig om du vinner en tävling (endast om du har godkänt detta)


3. DELNING AV UPPGIFTER

Vi säljer eller delar inte dina personuppgifter med tredje part, förutom:
- Ditt smeknamn som visas publikt i appens topplistor
- Firebase Authentication som hanterar inloggningen (se Googles integritetspolicy)


4. LAGRING OCH SÄKERHET

Dina uppgifter lagras säkert och vi vidtar lämpliga tekniska åtgärder för att skydda dem. E-postadresser som samlas in för tävlingar raderas när tävlingen är avslutad.


5. DINA RÄTTIGHETER

Du har rätt att:
- Begära information om vilka uppgifter vi har om dig
- Begära rättelse av felaktiga uppgifter
- Begära radering av dina uppgifter
- Ändra ditt smeknamn i appen

6. BARN

VetaMer är avsett för användare i alla åldrar. Vi samlar inte medvetet in mer personuppgifter än nödvändigt från barn.

This privacy policy describes how VetaMer ("the app", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal data.


1. WHAT DATA WE COLLECT

1.1 Automatically collected data
When you create an account in VetaMer via Firebase Authentication, we store your Firebase ID. This is a unique identifier that links you to your account and allows us to save your progress in the app.

1.2 Data you provide
You choose a nickname that is displayed publicly in the app's leaderboards for quizzes and challenges. Choose a nickname that you are comfortable with other users seeing.

1.3 Optional data for competitions
If you participate in a competition with prizes that require us to contact you, the app will ask if you want to share your email address. You decide whether to share this information. The email address is only used to contact potential winners and is deleted after the competition has ended.


2. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

We use your data to:
- Identify your account and save your progress
- Display your nickname in leaderboards and challenges
- Contact you if you win a competition (only if you have consented to this)


3. SHARING OF DATA

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties, except:
- Your nickname which is displayed publicly in the app's leaderboards
- Firebase Authentication which handles login (see Google's privacy policy)


4. STORAGE AND SECURITY

Your data is stored securely and we take appropriate technical measures to protect it. Email addresses collected for competitions are deleted when the competition has ended.


5. YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to:
- Request information about what data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Change your nickname in the app
